It's no secret that Kyle Lowry and Drake are good friends. Before he was a part of the Miami Heat, the two bonded together as part of the Toronto Raptors organization.

Clearly, the two have maintained contact with each other despite Lowry leaving for the Heat. Need proof of that? How about a video of the rapper and the All-Star point guard playing a friendly game of 1-on-1 in the AmericanAirlines Arena? (via NBA Central)

Despite bobbling the ball to start, Drake showed some decent moves against the Heat guard. He bricked the shot at the end, but what we saw is enough for a team to sign the rapper to a 10-day contract, if not a two-way deal.

Kidding aside, it's nice to see Lowry still being close to people from the Raptors organization. The Heat guard has previously praised former teammate Fred VanVleet for his performances as of late. The Raptors fanbase has a lot of appreciation for Lowry, and it's nice to see him reciprocate those feelings.

Lowry was brought over to the Miami Heat on a sign-and-trade deal this offseason, as part of the team's bid to contend this season. While his scoring has dipped considerably from his career averages, his intangibles and playmaking have been a huge part of the team's success this season. They sit at 3rd place in the Eastern Conference with a 26 – 15 record.

There's plenty of time for Kyle Lowry to bounce back to his All-Star form, though the Heat might not need him to do that. Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo have been stellar this season, allowing their new acquisition to rest easy.
