The Miami Heat managed to steal home-court advantage with a 113-103 win over the Philadelphia 76ers thanks to a vintage performance from shooting guard Dwyane Wade. However, the biggest moment of the night was his exchange with comedian Kevin Hart.

The Sixers were poised for a comeback before Wade closed out the game with a number of key plays down the stretch which sparked a death stare in Hart's direction. The banter did not stop there as the funnyman took to Twitter to voice the Sixer's plans for revenge:

Wade responded with a promise of his own.

The veteran had been notably focused throughout the entire game. However, he kicked it up a notch when he checked in with just over four minutes left in the game. Needless to say, Wade made his presence felt immediately with a steal that led to a fastbreak dunk before delivering the game-clinching dagger just a few moments later. Afterward, he attributed the intensity to Hart's attempts to trash-talk him courtside.

It is clear that the back-and-forth between the two is all in good-natured fun. However, their banter has drawn comparisons to legendary player-celebrity rivalries like the one between Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller and filmmaker Spike Lee. While this showdown hardly lacks the intensity that Miller-Lee did, it is still entertaining nonetheless. The fact that Sixers legend Allen Iverson was alongside Hart at the time makes it all the more iconic.

Although there is no limit to the type of trash talk Hart can deliver, he may want to proceed with caution when it comes to provoking Wade on the court as a three-time champ and former Finals MVP.
