Dwyane Wade could potentially have played his last NBA season in 2017-18, as the Zhejiang Golden Bulls of the Chinese Basketball Association have offered him a three-year, $20 million deal, according to Jonathan White of the South China Morning Post (via Yahoo Sports).

Wade is fresh off inking a lifetime contract with footwear and apparel company Li-Ning, one which he's been with for the past seven years after leaving Jordan Brand following a three-year stint.

While there are no direct ties, it's understood that Wade, like many other NBA athletes, signed with the Chinese brand with the hopes that he, one day, would take his talents to China.

Now-retired players like Tracy McGrady (signed with Adidas) still frequent the country to this day but boasting the same fervent fanbase when they return during their annual trip.

Wade is fresh off signing for the veteran's minimum ($2.3 million last season) and is still weighing the potential of playing in the NBA — now a 36-year-old mired in a backup role.

The Miami Heat don't have the cap flexibility to offer him a multi-year deal, and can't do so in good conscience considering his injury history and the toll his body has taken over 15 years of service in the league.

If Wade makes the move for China, it would only fortify what has already been a strong partnership between himself and LiNing, as Wade already boasts 13 of his own signature shoe stores: Way of Wade around the country.
