He's new to the Miami Heat, but Jimmy Butler is already roasting his teammates. He even started with Miami's elder statesman, Udonis Haslem.

According to Shandel Richardson of The Athletic, Butler apparently joked that Haslem's beard “looks like a pack of flies” during Dwyane Wade's roast party on Saturday night:

I had to Google “Udonis Haslem” just to really see it. Butler isn't lying. He, apparently, also doesn't respect his elders.

The room must have burst into laughter when Butler said that. Match that with his smug meme of a face and it's the perfect scene.

It looks like the enigmatic swingman is already growing comfortable with his new teammates. Heat president Pat Riley believes Butler is a perfect for the Heat culture, and it appears like the entire organization — plus Heat legend Dwyane Wade, who is close buddies with the two-way forward — is welcoming him with open arms. In fact, Wade recently endorsed his good friend as a Miami Heat culture guy.

Miami acquired Butler this offseason as part of a sign-and-trade deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, Portland Trail Blazers, and LA Clippers.

Meanwhile, Haslem returned to Miami for his 17th NBA season. The 39-year old has always been regarded as the heart and soul of the franchise, and his presence in the locker room is always something the Heat have valued.

Butler will look to lead the Heat on the court, while Haslem will continue to be the veteran leader and voice in the locker room. Miami looks to make a return to the playoffs in 2019-20 after falling short last season.
