The Miami Heat reportedly told Jimmy Butler this past summer they will be aggressive in trying to land another star in the future.

Butler has full confidence in the Heat's front office, which is led by Hall of Famer Pat Riley:

“I'm just here to hoop,” Jimmy Butler said when asked if he thought about the future possibilities for the organization when he agreed to come to Miami, via ESPN. “I'll let Coach Pat, Coach Spo and everybody else in the front office deal with all of that.

“I just know that I wanted to be here, I am here, and whatever we do, if we stick with this team, our job is still to win. We're locked in right now, and we'll worry about the future when it gets here.”

The Heat are enamored with Washington Wizards All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal. Miami has been trying to acquire Beal for the past few years, but the Wizards thus far have shown no interest in trading the sharpshooter, especially after signing him to an extension before the season started.

Butler was reportedly blown away by all the pomp and circumstance surrounding Dwyane Wade’s last home game with the Heat last season and told friends after the game being able to see what Miami and the Heat organization are about left an enormous impact on him.
