Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul had some words for friend and Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade after the latter hit a game-winning buzzer beater to oust the Golden State Warriors.

Via Twitter, Paul asked Wade not to put up his clutch game when they face tomorrow night in Houston.

Per Bleacher Report, below is Wade's game-winning shot.

At first, the Warriors seemingly shut off every chance at a shot. But at the last minute, Wade got a clean look and tossed the ball into the hoop — one foot behind the 3-point line. Miraculously, the ball went in much to the delight of the Heat crowd.

The Warriors, for their part, were left heartbroken. They knew they put on their best defensive stance. But Wade, considered a legend in the game, single-handedly beat them.

It certainly is a good proof that Wade has a whole lot of gas left in the tank. But as he announced before the season started, this will be his final year in the NBA.

Paul, one of Wade's closest friends, knows that the 37-year-old is capable of elevating his game to an elite level on any given night. His game-winner to give the Heat a victory over the Warriors isn't just a stroke of luck.

It's an NBA icon putting his best foot forward.
