The Indiana Hoosiers are most likely back in the NCAA Tournament after beating Illinois in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten tournament. Former New York Knicks head coach and current Hoosiers coach Mike Woodson was as excited about the victory as anyone, as he uttered a word that the television networks may not be so happy about in his joy, as reported by The Big Lead.

When asked about star Trayce Jackson-Davis playing a ton of minutes and responding late, Woodson said, “Well, he's 20 years old, sh*t he should be able to respond.”

This is a hilarious quote from Mike Woodson. Woodson was asked about star sophomore Trayce Jackson-Davis, who stepped up with a team-high 21 points to help Indiana knock off the ranked-Fighting Illini. That wasn't the only noteworthy quote from Woodson, who provided a mix of wisdom and humor in the postgame.

Woodson said that the Hoosiers would need to stop Illinois' three-point shooting, which was a sage bit of advice, considering the Fighting Illini shot just 36.4 percent from three as a team. Woodson's bit of coaching may have helped secure Indiana a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Or, if you ask Woodson, it definitely did.

This man is a legend. Not only did Woodson get Indiana back on a winning track in his first season, but he also may have just led them to their first NCAA Tournament berth since the 2015-16 season.

Woodson isn't just any hero. He's the hero Indiana needed.
