After Monday night's disappointing performance, many Washington Redskins fans are asking whether it is time to move on from Case Keenum to their recent first round draft pick, Dwayne Haskins.

Following a promising defensive start to the game that saw rookie Montez Sweat record his first career sack, the Washington offense couldn't capitalize on the stop. In fact their offense seemed doomed from the get-go as their first drive ended in Haha Clinton Dix picking off Keenum and taking it back to the house. The interception was Keenum's first of the season, but far from his last of the game, as it seemed like the Bears defense and Khalil Mack were able to wreak havoc for four quarters.

Keenum was responsible for three picks and two fumbles, totaling an astonishing five turnovers for the veteran quarterback. As Washington continues to struggle, falling to 0-3 on the season, many are wondering why Haskins continues to sit on the bench as head coach Jay Gruden's seat continues to get hotter by the minute.

Haskins was one of the most highly touted quarterbacks to come out of this years draft, with many expecting him to end up in New York. Slipping to Washington at number 15, Redskins fans were enamored with the possibility that they might finally have a franchise quarterback that could spark some hope after so many years of struggling to find success.

As Washington fights to find their identity, turning to Haskins might be the quickest way to find out what exactly it is. Do not forget the chip that he carries on his shoulder after feeling he was slighted by falling so low in the draft. Haskins is ready to go out and compete and having him make his debut next week wouldn't be anything less than perfect, as Washington heads to MetLife stadium to face off against the team he was expected to be drafted by.

With Daniel Jones lighting the world on fire after his four touchdown debut and win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Redskins fans should be wanting the same thing out of their first rounder. If anything, Haskins was considered the more pro ready quarterback heading into the draft and after having three weeks to sit behind Keenum and learn the offense a bit, it is time for him to get his opportunity.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Giants are one of the worst in the league, giving Haskins a fair chance to succeed in his first start, and let's not kid ourselves, we all want to watch this rookie on rookie matchup as the two could be future stars of these prominent franchises.
