The Utah Jazz continue their torridly aggressive post-Gordon-Hayward free agency swing, this time expected to waive forward/center Boris Diaw, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

The organization has made three signings throughout the last 24 hours, agreeing to terms with forwards Thabo Sefolosha, Jonas Jerebko, and hybrid forward/center Ekpe Udoh.

Now without a high-scoring star at their service, the Jazz will hone into a three-and-D mold, and given their new acquisitions — it leaves no room for the veteran Frenchman on the roster.

Diaw played the lowest minutes per game of his career and averaged the worst scoring mark since his rookie season with 4.6 points per game.

The cagey veteran can still carve out a mentorship role within the NBA, given his nifty footwork and ability to play the power forward and center position, but his days as a key cog in a rotation are far and gone at 35 years of age.

There's still the possibility that Utah can use his instantly-expiring $7.5 million contract as part of a trade before July 15, when the contract becomes fully guaranteed, per MacMahon.
