There have been a lot of really entertaining games that have happened so far this postseason and that was the case with both of Saturday's games. Unfortunately for Utah Jazz rookie Donovan Mitchell, he hasn't been able to catch it all.
The first game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics had it all. In the final seconds of regulation, Marco Belinelli made a long 2-pointer but that tied the game. The only issue was that Belinelli, most of the fans, and the guy in charge of the confetti machine thought it was a three-pointer.
When the shot went through confetti poured onto the court and all of that had to be cleaned up before overtime could happen.
In overtime, Al Horford ended up hitting the game-winning shot and propelling the Celtics to a 3-0 series lead and put them in complete control.
One guy who didn't see the game though was Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz who seemed disappointed that he didn't tune in.
He must have tuned into the second game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors because after James hit the buzzer beater he took to Twitter again.
For Mitchell, if he could pull off something like LeBron James or Al Horford did on Saturday that could go a long way in redeeming his performance from Game 3. He looked lost without Ricky Rubio and was having a hard time hitting a shot or getting anyone else involved. After the game he took full blame for what happened.
“I was minus-31. I didn't really do much as a whole,” Mitchell said via Ben Golliver of Sports Illustrated. “I wasn't there. That can't happen. I would have been better off not showing up. I didn't show up at all for my teammates. I'll fix it.”
