Things got a little bit chippy in Game 3 between the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers. Newly crowned Sixth Man of the Year Jordan Clarkson was in the thick of the action as he got whistled for a flagrant foul 1 for a blatant hit on Clippers big man Ivica Zubac.

Clarkson channeled countryman and multi-division boxing champion Manny Pacquiao with this vicious smack across Zubac's head:

Clarkson was going for the ball, but he was very late on his attempt to swat the rock away from Zubac. The Jazz stud hit Zubac smack across the face at full strength. That could have easily been called a flagrant 2 considering how the hit was above the shoulders.

Luckily, players from the Clippers did not seem to take exception to the hit. Just imagine if this was on Kawhi Leonard or Paul George. I'm sure guys like Marcus Morris and Reggie Jackson would have had a thing or two to say to Clarkson.

The Jazz-Clippers series has been quite physical, with both teams looking to establish their superiority on the opposition. As it is, however, it's the shorthanded Jazz with the significant advantage over the Clippers with a 2-0 series lead heading into Saturday's Game 3.
