It's been an interesting year for both Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown so far. They now find themselves in circumstances opposite to what they were going through at this point last season.

Bell has had a tough season in an abysmal New York Jets team while Brown is without a team after two short, tumultuous stints with the Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots.

It came naturally for the press to ask about Bell's opinion on the situation of his former teammate and what he's been doing in his virtual space. He had a piece of advice for his friend when it came to handling his social media presence.

Bell's tip is something Brown can especially use now that he's out of the league for quite some time.

“I think my biggest advice would be maybe not try to do too much over social media,” Bell said per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. “I mean everybody kind of watches him and follows him and wants to hear what he has to say. So try to keep all the positive energy if you are on social media and try not to post negative things.”

Bell's words aren't a dig at his former teammate, but anyone who follows the Brown saga can observe how unnecessarily loud Brown has been on social media for quite a while. He's shared his thoughts on a couple of incriminating social media posts, even during the time when he reportedly quit the league over racial discrimination.

It's obvious that Brown wants to get back into the NFL, but his attitude off the court is not doing him any favors. He better takes his former teammate's advice if he really wants to play in the NFL sooner rather than later.
