The New York Jets are still winless after five weeks of football. Fans are frustrated that they are seemingly once again on the way to another disappointing season that ends in another high pick.

However, star Jet Le'Veon Bell is snot showing any sign of dismay. In fact, he's getting encouragement from what the team has shown in Week 5.

According to ESPN's Rich Cimini, the 27-year-old running back believes that the team is close to becoming a good offense. He said that the team is on the brink of becoming half-decent.

However, some fans couldn't see in which way this Jets team will become decent. No playmaker in the Jets roster managed more than 50 yards on the ground or on the air. In fact, Bell was the biggest achiever in the offense, gaining a total of 90 yards on both rushing and receiving.

One of the reasons why Bell was in a good mood was probably due to the NFL's quick action against Vontze Burfict. He's happy that the league swiftly acted on suspending the Raiders linebacker for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Colts tight end Jack Doyle.

“There are certain fine lines you really can’t cross and I feel like he kind of finds it every game,” Bell said of Burfict, per Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk. “It’s like unbelievable. The league did what it did. I’m glad they’re finally trying to bite down on things like that because we don’t want dirty players in the league.”

However, this doesn't solve the issue that the Jets are still subpar on offense. Some want Adam Gase fired from the team, but there's more to the problem than it seems.

They need to find a solution to their problems before Bell's smiles turn upside down and request a trade away.
