The league announced Monday that a $15,000 fine has been assessed for Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson.

Clarkson was ejected from Sunday night's game after getting into a scuffle with Miami Heat guard Goran Dragic after hitting him from behind with a forearm.

Both Dragic and Clarkson were ejected, but Heat coach Erik Spoelstra objected to his point guard's dismissal.

That's really shameful, disgraceful that Goran Dragic got thrown out of that game. There's no way he should be thrown out of that situation for just taking an elbow to the face, getting up, not even necessarily defending himself, just getting up. But at that point, it's an eight-point game, and we pretty much just let it go from there.

The Lakers eventually won the matchup 127-100 despite Clarkson finishing the night on just 2-4 shooting.
