Incensed by a screen set by Kelly Olynyk, Wizards sophomore Kelly Oubre leveled the Celtics big man with a shove in Game 3 of the second-round series between Washington and Boston. Oubre was immediately ejected from the game and due to his actions, he is suspended for Game 4 on Sunday.

Oubre's retaliating towards Olynyk has re-energized the conversation that the Celtics forward is a dirty player. While battling for a rebound, Olynyk infamously injured Kevin Love in the 2015 playoffs and now with his run-in with Oubre, many are calling him dirty.

Unsurprisingly, Olynyk denies the claim that he is a dirty player.

From CSNNE's A. Sherrod Blakely:

“I don't think I'm a dirty player. My teammates don't think I'm a dirty player,” Olynyk said after practice Saturday. “It's basketball. It happens. You have to set a screen, you box out, you have to do a lot of things. It's not something you focus on. You just go out there and play the next game.”

No matter what Olynyk says, it won't change the perception surrounding him, especially since he has a history of seemingly dirty plays. The only way to really change how people view him is if Olynyk changes how he plays, which likely won't happen.
