The NBA has suspended Washington Wizards forward Kelly Oubre for Sunday's Game 4 after his altercation with Boston Celtics center Kelly Olynyk on Thursday's Game 3, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

Oubre charged at Olynyk after getting checked by a hard pick for the second time in a span of two minutes, inciting his rage and shoving the 7-footer, who happened to be right next to referee James Capers.

The second-year forward out of Kansas had sizable contributions the first two games of the series, tallying 12 points in each while stretching out the floor with his three-point prowess.

Most of Washington's reserve role at the small forward position will go to mid-season pickup Bojan Bogdanovic, who stepped up in Oubre's absence in Game 3, dropping 19 points off the bench, including a sharp 3-of-4 from beyond the arc.

Due to Bradley Beal‘s long-range struggles this postseason (27 percent), the Wizards will need plenty of marksmen to take down the Celtics yet again, who have shown to be prone to fall behind early as they have in three consecutive games in this series.

A Game 4 win would be a reset of the series, making it a heated best-of-three affair that is bound to get that much more physical now that the stakes are at its highest.

Thursday's heated Game 3 included 52 fouls, eight technical fouls (four each way) and three player ejections — Oubre and Brandon Jennings for the Wizards and Terry Rozier for the Celtics.
