Sunday night featured a marquee matchup for the New York Knicks as they took on the mighty Philadelphia 76ers. It ended up being a nail-biter with Knicks star Julius Randle tying the game in the dying seconds with a corner triple that is reminiscent of Kawhi Leonard's series-winner against the Sixers a couple of years back.

Here's a look at Randle sending the game to overtime with this heads up play (h/t NBA Quick Highlights on Twitter):

Randle, who has been breaking all sorts of Knicks records of late, had very little breathing room in the corner with Sixers star Tobias Harris all over him. Somehow, Randle was able to create a bit of separation, which was all he needed to drain the game-tying triple.

Sorry Sixers fans, but we can't help but bring up that epic Kawhi Leonard game-winning jumper from Game 7 of the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals. I know you know what we're talking about here, but just for fun, here's that momentous play again. Look away Philly fans.

The situation was very much different from Sunday's regular-season tilt against the Knicks, but Randle's shot bouncing on the rim before eventually falling through is definitely Kawhi-like.

New York took on the best team in the East in the Sixers on Sunday night, and they made sure to make a statement that they were no pushovers.
