Julius Randle was feeling himself on Friday night. The New York Knicks All-Star power forward closed out the third quarter with an epic, James Harden-like step-back trey to give his team a four-point advantage over the Dallas Mavericks.

Here's a look at Randle showing off his acumen from trey with this long-distance bomb (h/t Knicks on Twitter):

The shot was so good that the Knicks just had to pose a second angle of the buzzer-beater:

Randle was on fire all night long as he finished the first three-quarters of play with 35 big ones. He wasn't even done yet.

Randle's step-back triple at the buzzer was not an isolated incident as well. Earlier in the game, he dropped a similar move on Mavs superstar Luka Doncic. Randle nearly put Doncic in skates as he completely faked him out with an outstanding jab-step.

Randle has been on an absolute tear for the Knicks of late. Over his last three games prior to Friday, the 26-year-old has averaged 30.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 4.7 assists, while also connecting on 2.7 triples per game on a 36.4-percent clip. Randle has been mentioned as a frontrunner for this season's Most Improved Player award and based on what we've seen from him all year long, you would be hard-pressed to find a more fitting candidate.
