With the New York Knicks holding an 18-18 record and ranked as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference, the good news continues pouring in for Knicks' fans.

As it turns out, star power forward, Julias Randle claims he wants to be a Knick for life, per Marc Berman. Randle has clearly put some pressure on New York's front office for the time being, as this is a transaction the Knicks could follow through with.

Randle is having a career year, currently averaging 23.1 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 5.5 assists this season. It certainly could be a great extension for this franchise as they have struggled through recent years. However, according to Bobby Marks, New York can give Randle $106 million over the next four years if they desire to do so.

The future finally looks good in New York, as they have a plethora of young talent helping this team excel in the NBA right now. From RJ Barrett to Obi Toppin, this roster has some solid depth that could make some noise in the postseason this year.

As for Julius Randle, wanting to stay in New York makes sense. So far throughout his career, Randle has played for the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans before being traded to the New York Knicks. He's had to move around the country quite often, and it seems he's ready to settle down and call New York home for at least the next few years.

Considering he's the best player on the team, the front office should be pulling the trigger on offering Randle a deal that's suitable for him. New York has finally found their centerpiece and will continue putting pieces around him until they become a legitimate contender in the Eastern Conference.
