New York Knicks head coach David Fizdale is going tough on his rookie Kevin Knox. The 19-year old just made a big time shot in the fourth quarter in his second career NBA game against the Brooklyn nets. All of his teammates were celebrating for the young kid. But not Fizdale.

That's some hard-nosed coaching right there. Sure, Knox just made a crucial shot on offense. No doubt, that shot was huge for the first year man out of Kentucky. He thought he already had his first huge moment in the NBA.

But Knox's smile turned upside down in a hurry after Fizdale scolded him for a defensive lapse in the previous play. He was visibly frustrated with Knox's play on the other side of the ball.

In the play prior to his big shot, the rookie did not show on the ball handler, Spencer Dinwiddie, who just came off the screen set by Knox's defender, Jared Dudley.

Luckily, the play was broken up by Enes Kanter as the Knicks got the steal. This, then led to Knox's huge three-pointer which tied the game 93 apiece with 4:24 left in the final period.

Even if the Knicks lost the game, 107-105, in heartbreaking fashion via a Caris Levert game-winner, Knox actually had a great game this time around after having a sub-par debut against the Atlanta Hawks. He finished the game with 17 points and 6 rebounds of 7 of 14 shooting.

This is going to be long season for Knox. For sure, the rookie will experience many ups and downs throughout the year, and he is going to hear it from his coach. Fizdale is one of the toughest coaches in the league, and this moment just proves it.
