New York Knicks team owner James Dolan is not exactly the most popular individual in the league right now. As a matter of fact, it would be easy to make a case that at this point, he might actually be the exact opposite.

Nevertheless, Knicks incoming sophomore Kevin Knox came to the defense of his current employer, saying that in his mind, he believes that the multi-millionaire is actually a decent guy.

“He's good, man. I like him,” Kevin Knox told TMZ Sports. “He talks to us a lot of times before the games.”

“He's a great person. I play Fortnite with his sons all the time. He's a good dude.”

Knox paints Dolan in a completely different light here, with the 64-year-old CEO currently being identified by more than a few Knicks supporters as the main reason behind the team's epic failure of an offseason.

We're not sure how New York fans will react to Knox's statement here, but knowing Knicks fans, Knox better be ready to hear some “ass-kissing” remarks arising from this. Then again, what did we expect him to say? You never bite the hand the feeds you, and with Knox looking to earn close to $5 million this coming season as a member of the Knicks' payroll, there's just no point jumping on the Nolan-bashing bandwagon.

Much is expected from Knox entering his sophomore year, with the 6-foot-9 power forward leaving a lot to be desired from a rather pedestrian rookie campaign, where he averaged 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.6 steals in 28.8 minutes of action.
