In an era that values versatility over just any particular skill, Kristaps Porzingis has shown to be exactly what the league wants and a treat for a team that is able to tap into the potential of what he could turn into.

By just evaluating what he's done during his first two seasons, only LeBron James has been able to match his 1,000 rebounds, 150 made three-pointers and 100 blocks, according to Basketball-Reference.com via ESPN's Paul Hembekides.

Taking that a step further and looking at those who have amassed 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 250 blocks and 100 made trifectas — only Porzingis sits on that mound.

The Unicorn's 18.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game were solid for a star player at his position, but not out of this world — leaving room for improvement over consequent seasons.

While many see a cap on his scoring so long as Carmelo Anthony is still the No. 1 option on offense, perhaps Porzingis is better served by growing alongside one of the league's most consistent perennial scorers, as one of the four players to ever average 20 points or more in each season of his career.

Porzingis will be a nightmare when fully unleashed, but for the time being — he can strive with better shot selection, thanks to Anthony taking the burden of being the primary scorer, so long as the organization does not remain hellbent on running the triangle — an offense that constitutes making the right play according to what the defense dictates rather than getting the right player the right opportunity.
