What the New York Knicks have done so far this season has been nothing short of remarkable. A laughingstock for years now, Tom Thibodeau and the Knicks have completely flipped the script this year. Currently, they sit with a record of 37-28 with seven games left in the regular season. While Julius Randle is having an all-pro type season and RJ Barrett has elevated his game to previously unseen levels, there's been one other main constant on this squad: Derrick Rose.

While the Knicks have won 12 of their last 13 games, their record with Derrick Rose, according to Statmuse, is staggering.

Rose is coming off a season high 25 points on 11/15 from the floor. He's turned back the clock for some vintage performances so far this season after the Knicks acquired him early on from the Detroit Pistons.

As things currently sit, the Knicks would be the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference, something unimaginable at the outset of the season. A large part of that has been due to the veteran point guard's consistent play.

On the season, Rose is averaging 14.3 points per game to go along with 4.1 assists. He has seen more and more minutes as the season has gone on and the play of Elfrid Payton has dipped to almost unplayable levels. Still, Rose is seen in a reserve role off the bench which might be what's best for the Knicks right now as their second unit with Rose along with rookie sensation Immanuel Quickley have flourished as a duo on the court together in recent weeks.

There isn't a soul out there that isn't thrilled to see Derrick Rose dip into the fountain of youth this year. How far this joyride will go once the playoffs start is yet to be seen. But there's a clear consensus that when the Knicks are competing in the playoffs, the NBA is better for it.
