The New York Knicks may have whiffed on the top superstars in free agency, but there will be optimism when the Knicks' Summer League squad takes the court in Las Vegas. In fact, New York is the favorite to win the Summer League tournament in Sin City:

The Summer Knicks will be led by No. 3 overall pick RJ Barrett. Knicks fans have high hopes for the Duke product, and they're excited to see him take the floor for the first time.

While Barrett will be a big draw, New York has a number of other youngsters who should make an impact in Vegas, including several rookies from this past season. Kevin Knox, Mitchell Robinson and Allonzo Trier are all on the Summer League roster, giving the Knicks a loaded team.

Also be on the lookout for Ignas Brazdeikis, New York's second-round pick out of Michigan.

The Knicks will open Las Vegas Summer League on Friday night against Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans. New York may be the favorite to win in Vegas, but Williamson will be the main attraction after going No. 1 overall in the draft.

Barrett vs. Williamson will be especially fun to watch given these two were college teammates who dominated together at Duke.
