The New York Knicks managed to claw their way back from a hole they had dug for themselves early, beating the Atlanta Hawks with a final score of 126-107. It was an uplifting start to the Knicks' season that Enes Kanter was still pumping adrenaline well after the final buzzer.

While Tim Hardaway Jr. and Allonzo Trier were being interviewed, the Turkish center went out of his way and ran through his two teammates in pure Kanter-ish video bomb fashion.

Kanter has plenty of reasons to be pumped up. For one, the Knicks established a new franchise record after scoring 49 points in the second quarter alone. The scorching 12 minutes of play made everyone inside Madison Square Garden forget about the team's 0-for-9 start.

Hardaway led the team in scoring with 31 points. He also contributed six rebounds, five assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers. Trier made a good account of himself too in his NBA debut, scoring 15 points. Meanwhile, Kanter was all muscle with 16 points and a team-high 11 rebounds.

The Knicks will be handicapped, possibly for the entire season as Kristaps Porzingis continues to recover from a torn ACL. They'll need more of this kind of energy from Kanter and the entire crew moving forward if they wish to become relevant in a wide-open conference.
