New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson is one of the biggest high-flyers in the NBA. He showed off his jumping skills on Monday against Russell Westbrook and the Houston Rockets.

Robinson caught an alley-oop slam from Knicks point guard Elfrid Payton to get the MSG crowd on its feet:

Robinson came into Monday averaging 9.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks for the Knicks. He's one of the youngsters the franchise is hoping to build the franchise around.

As a rookie, Robinson put up 7.3 points and 6.4 rebounds. He averaged 2.4 blocks per game and has showed this season his shot blocking skills weren't just a one-year wonder kind of thing.

The Knicks will once again miss the playoffs this season. However, it's been fun to watch the development of Robinson, as well as the other young guys on the team. With the addition of Leon Rose, here's to the Knicks being competitive in the near future.
