Los Angeles Lakers guard Alex Caruso does not need to do a ton of styling with his hair prior to games.

The former Texas A&M product is practically balding, and he joked with “Inside The NBA” host Ernie Johnson it takes him “35 seconds” to do his hair after Johnson — also somewhat lacking in the hair department — said it takes him 36 seconds.

Caruso might not have much hair, but he has plenty of game.

The 26-year-old has played a big role for the Lakers this season, eating up valuable backcourt minutes while also providing a defensive fit for head coach Frank Vogel.

Caruso averaged 5.5 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 steal in just over 18 minutes per game during the regular season. He has increased his production in the playoffs, averaging 6.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists in just under 24 minutes per contest.

The Lakers have needed every bit of Caruso's production, especially considering Avery Bradley did not travel to Orlando.

Los Angeles' backcourt looked like a potential issue through the first two rounds. Rajon Rondo missed LA.'s first-round series against the Portland Trail Blazers, and both Danny Green and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope struggled to make open shots.

However, Caruso provided defense and floor-spacing as the Lakers stayed the course, and Rondo's return late in the Houston series has played a major role in the team's recent success. Caldwell-Pope also seems to be busting out, as he scored 18 points in their Game 1 win over the Denver Nuggets on Friday.

What Caruso lacks in hair, he has made up for in droves with effort and heart.
