Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard is probably happy for Carmelo Anthony, who recently signed with the Los Angeles Lakers. However, it seems he's not yet ready to show it.

After confirming his one-year deal with the Lakers, Anthony took to Instagram to bid his farewell to the Blazers–the lone team that gave him a chance after he was out for more than one year and when his career appeared to be over. Melo showed his gratitude to Portland, sharing that the city allowed him to “love the game of basketball again.”

Instead of being emotional, though, Lillard took the hilarious route and dropped a rather savage message for Anthony–of course, he did so jokingly.

“Off the property bruv,” Lillard commented on Anthony's Instagram post.

Carmelo Anthony has a chance to win the championship alongside LeBron James on the Lakers, and fans like Stephen A. Smith are loving that after all he went through in his career.

Damian Lillard will have to be opponents with Melo once again, and while he certainly would not like that, it's pretty much certain he also wants the best for his former Blazers teammate.

Anthony spent the past two seasons with the Blazers, averaging 14.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 127 games played for Rip City. He embraced a reserve role for the team and thrived in that area. Now, as he joins LeBron and the Lakers, he is hoping to make just as much impact as he did alongside Lillard on Portland.
