Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James missed out on the playoffs for the first time since 2005. The NBA's greatest star of this generation who has been the centerpiece of the big stage over the past decade did not get to showcase his talents under the brightest lights. And the league is feeling the void.

One of his greatest nemesis in Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, whom LeBron has faced in the NBA Finals the last four years, admitted that it's weird not seeing The King in the postseason, per Howard Beck of Bleacher Report.

“It's just weird,” the Golden State Warriors' Draymond Green said. “More as a basketball fan than anything: ‘Damn, Bron not there.' It's super weird. You always relish the opportunity to play against a talent like that.”

James and his Lakers, of course, had a disappointing 2018-19 campaign that was clouded with injuries and trade rumors. The burden was just too much even for the 34-year old King to overcome.

Nonetheless, LeBron seems to enjoy being a fan and a spectator in these playoffs.

The 2019 postseason is nearing its end, with the NBA Finals just right around the corner. The Warriors are currently waiting on the wings to find out who their dance partner will be in their fifth consecutive run in June.

The Toronto Raptors and the Milwaukee Bucks will face off in Game 6 on Saturday night, with the Raps needing just one more win to advance to their first ever NBA Finals.

Many teams, especially over the last eight playoffs have been trying to knock off James at the throne in the Eastern Conference. But all have failed.

With LeBron out of the picture, it looks like number one victim in the Raptors is about to break through to the Finals.

The Bucks, of course, have plans to send this back to Milwaukee.
