Los Angeles Lakers forward Jared Dudley clapped back again at former NBA player Royce White after the latter used Dudley as an example of a player not deserving of a roster spot, only to favor the jobless Carmelo Anthony. White initially made comments aimed at LeBron James and the Lakers involving Dudley and Anthony.

White, who never got his career started in the league due to a fear of flying in planes, also argued with the longtime NBA veteran on Twitter in a since-deleted tweet exchange:

It's tough to know why Dudley is getting “triggered” by a player who never really made it in the league, turning to playing in the G League after only three games with the Sacramento Kings. Dudley has earned the reputation of a strong veteran with the willingness to teach the game as well as play spot minutes, something the Lakers needed when they agreed to sign him.

Dudley has no need to justify his place in the league nor to step up for Anthony, who's talked about enough as it is.

After years of bouncing through several overseas leagues, White turned the page on his basketball dream, transitioning into Mixed Martial Arts at the start of 2019 and now playing for the BIG3.

It seems this argument with Dudley is a desperate attempt to seek out some relevance for a player who has now scored more Twitter arguments than points as a professional in the NBA.
