The Los Angeles Lakers are coming off yet another disappointing loss, this time at the hands of the LA Clippers. To make matters worse, it appears guard Josh Hart is still not back to 100 percent.

Hart has been battling a knee issue for quite some time now. He says he is currently taking it day-by-day but will try to play as much as he can moving forward, via Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints:

“It all depends on the day. There will be days where I'll wake up and it doesn't feel good. It depends on the day, but my job is to go out there and play as hard as I can with whatever I can.”

Josh Hart had been initially diagnosed with tendinitis in his knee back in early February. The Lakers were hoping that the All-Star break would have provided him with enough time to get back to full health. However, that does not seem to be the case.

Although Hart may be dealing with lingering knee pain, he has still done a solid job of not letting it slow him down.

There was certainly no shortage of effort from him during the Lakers' loss to the Clippers on Monday night. This was evident when he managed to execute an impressive chase down block.  Unfortunately, his energy was not reciprocated by the rest of his team as the ball was quickly rebounded and put back in.

It is no secret that this has been a disappointing stretch for the Purple and Gold. Despite his struggles, Hart's energy has been one of the few bright spots in an otherwise lost season. The Lakers will need him to be as healthy as possible moving forward if they hope to end the year on a high note.
