Welcome to another episode of Kevin Durant vs. random people on Twitter. The Brooklyn Nets star had a certain detractor throw shade at both him and Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis.

Twitter user @waldordsfinest had some choice words about the Lakers superstar, who he called passive while watching their game against the Knicks on Tuesday night. He managed to throw shade at both him and Kevin Durant in one go.

Another fan chimed in, defending KD (we're 100% sure it's not a burner, right?) and claiming that the hate applied more to the Lakers big man than it did to Kevin Durant. However, Mr. Waldorsfinest clearly didn't agree. He reneged that the Nets star often just stays by the corner while his other star teammates do the work, acting as a decoy in the process.

With this Tweet gathering some decent amount of #Twitter #clout, it constituted a clap back from Kevin Durant himself. The Nets superstar fired back at the fan, who he claimed didn't understand that the corner decoy action is actually a huge part of offensive strategy.

I'm definitely on Kevin Durant's side on this one, especially considering the personnel he's with on the Brooklyn Nets. When a play is involving one of his offensively gifted teammates in Kyrie Irving or James Harden, KD actually is better suited spacing the floor as an elite decoy that defenders absolutely cannot help off of.

This is exactly what makes the Brooklyn Nets so dangerous in the first place. While it's always amusing to see Kevin Durant reacting to haters online, this round goes to KD.
