Kyle Kuzma, Lance Stephenson star in hilarious ‘Shazam’ ad
Los Angeles Lakers teammates Kyle Kuzma and Lance Stephenson were recently featured in a promotional video for the upcoming DC superhero epic “Shazam.” The two showed off their acting chops in the brief ad, and needless to say, the end result was simply hilarious.
Retired All-Star point guard Mark Jackson’s Academy Award-level acting definitely blew us out of the water here, but unfortunately for him, Stephenson was there to take away his thunder. Lance’s famed air guitar dance has to take the cake in this one.
The Lakers were in action on Sunday in a rare victory against the Sacramento Kings. Both Kuzma and Stephenson did their bit to help their side to a 111-106 victory, but it was the former who had it going against the Kings.
Kuzma torched Sacramento for 29 points on 10-of-22 shooting, along with five three-pointers, six rebounds, two assists, and a block in 40 minutes of play. The second-year forward has been cruising all season long, and is putting up 18.7 points (on 45.7 percent shooting), 1.8 three-pointers, 5.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.4 blocks per contest.
As for Stephenson, he accounted for eight points, seven rebounds, and three assists in 25 minutes off the Lakers bench. The 28-year-old is currently on a one-year deal with the team which will expire at the end of this season. The Lakers are in a bit of a pickle right now, and the moves they are able to pull off in the summer will determine what kind of future (if any) Stephenson has with the team moving forward.
