Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Phil Handy recently went on vacation in Hawaii. The long-time LA coach decided to take a taxing hike up a popular mountain on the island and it came as a complete shock to Handy when he realized what was in store for him at the peak.

The Lakers coach took to Instagram to share a photo of an amazing Kobe Bryant tribute literally at the top of the mountain. Handy could barely believe his eyes:

“This is absolutely crazy right here. I am in Hawaii, on top of KoKo Crater, a mountain. 1,075 steps up, about a mile up and in the corner, at the top of this mountain, I find this ‘Mamba 8-24'. Kobe is really in every part of the world and his whole mentally has creeped into every crevasse of the world and I wanted to share this with you all. This is absolutely amazing,” Handy wrote (h/t Eric Eulau of FanNation).

As Handy expressed, it's quite amazing to see these Kobe tributes all over. They come in the most unexpected locations — just like on a remote mountaintop in Hawaii. This just shows how much love the Lakers legend has all across the world.
