LaVar Ball is the sports dad everybody loves to hate for obvious reasons. Ball’s mouth has been a factory of absurd claims and ridiculous predictions though people are beginning to understand his uncanny marketing genius. That’s not to mention it’s also home to a set of hideous set of ivories. Above all these, Ball’s mouth has put a large target on his son’s, Lonzo Ball’s, back in the NBA.

We don’t really need to remind the elder Ball of that. He’d even gladly tell you that he’s the main reason why guys like Patrick Beverley look forward to squaring off with Lonzo or why the Los Angeles Lakers rookie is always going to be seen in a bad light most of the time by the public.

In an interview with ESPN following the Lakers’ win over the Phoenix Suns on Friday, LaVar Ball showed he’s aware of all the negative publicity he’s been generating every time he opens his mouth and how it affects the way people view his son.

It’s good to know LaVar acknowledges how his rhetoric play a big role in shaping Lonzo’s image, but of course, that’s not going to stop him from being such an outspoken person.
