LeBron James had a monster triple-double performance in Game 5 against the Denver Nuggets to propel the Los Angeles Lakers to the NBA Finals. Apparently, The King gave a spoiler to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports of what he had in store for the Nuggets on Saturday night.

It was minutes before tipoff of Game 5 of the Western Conference finals Saturday night between the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets. LeBron James was getting his last few warmup shots in.

He was all business. The laughs and smiles that he shares with teammates throughout portions of his warmup routine were long gone. James had reversed course and had the look of someone who was out for blood. All of a sudden, 6-foot-9 superstar noticed a familiar face who was observing from behind the basket, and James walked over.

“I’m going to end this s— tonight,” he told Yahoo Sports. “Watch!”

James apparently also had the look, perhaps similar to the famous locked in death stare he gave while dominating Game 6 of the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics.

LeBron finished with 38 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists on Saturday, which marked his fourth triple-double in these playoffs. He scored 16 of his 38 points in the fourth quarter. This included a torrid two-minute stretch late in the game where he scored nine straight points to finally put Denver to bed.

The four-time MVP certainly didn't wear his smile prior to, during, or even after the game when the Lakers booked their ticket to the Finals. While James has every reason to smile for making the 10th Finals appearance of his career, he's obviously not satisfied with the feat. His job isn't done just yet, with the Lakers needing four more wins to capture their 16th title in franchise history.
