LeBron James is no stranger to dishing some tough love. The Los Angeles Lakers star was seen all up in Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's ear during the last two minutes against the Phoenix Suns.

The most likely scenario is that James was just trying to keep his Lakers' teammate in high spirits. But some fans couldn't help but see LeBron simply berating KCP for a poor showing in Game 2. You can decide for yourself.

Catch the exchange here as James looks fired up at his Lakers teammate:

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope clocked in over 30 minutes of action, the most playing time among Lakers not named LeBron, Anthony Davis, or Dennis Schroder.

In that span he scored no points, while tallying just four rebounds, one assist, and one steal. KCP missed all his shots from the field, going zero for four, all of which were three-pointers.

Knowing the type of leader LeBron James is, he was probably motivating his teammate to keep his head up high. The Lakers have witnessed KCP come up big for them in huge moments during last year's championship run. LA definitely needs Caldwell-Pope firing on all cylinders if they want to maximize their team potential around LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Game 3 of Lakers-Suns is on Thursday night.
