The Los Angeles Lakers' Lonzo Ball is set to return for some preseason action and his new teammate LeBron James shared his thoughts on the matter.

As reported by Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints, James said that Ball's presence will definitely change their team being that the 20-year-old is a ballhandler and will also likely impact the team's defensive rebounding.

In addition, James acknowledged that Ball, being the team's point guard, knows all the plays better than anybody. He also added a tidbit with regard to the Lakers' offensive system this year: they want to run the break as much as they can. This style of play has been pretty evident in their preseason games.

As revealed by Lakers head coach Luke Walton, Ball will likely play in their preseason game against the defending champion Golden State Warriors in Las Vegas. Ball, who had minor offseason surgery to repair his left knee, is pretty close to a hundred percent per Walton and the coaching staff. James, too, will suit up after opting to rest in their game against the L.A. Clippers.

In an interview, James once said that Ball is destined for greatness. Along with Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram, Ball is seen as one of the top young guns of the purple and gold. Though their match against the Warriors is just an exhibition game, it would be interesting to see how Ball and James will coexist in the court.
