If there is one of those things that everybody is looking out for this upcoming NBA season, it is seeing new Los Angeles Lakers face of the franchise LeBron James in action. It is a no-brainer to see why, he is arguably the greatest player of all time to play the game.

As James works out with his team before the season begins, it would be interesting to know how the arrival of a player of his caliber will affect the Lakers.

According to a tweet from ClutchPoints writer Ryan Ward, James' locker room vibe was positive after their first practice.

Injecting a future Hall of Famer into a bunch of youngsters full of potential and a handful of eager veterans is not normally a recipe for success. Fortunately for the Lakers, the 14-time All-star is never considered a mere mortal, handling their current locker room is another day in the office for the King. If first impressions are good enough to last, James loving the Laker locker room may be a pretty good sign of things to come.

Before the LeBron James migration to Hollywood, the young Laker squad was a forgettable 35-47 last season. They were bearable enough to see flashes of brilliance from Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, and Brandon Ingram.

This upcoming season, things will drastically change for the franchise. They are not expected to be a feel-good story in the league anymore with James at the helm. At best, they could go all the way with the best player in the world. At worst, they would finally get another crack in the playoffs.

Either way, the Lakers are a team to watch out for. How successful they are will only be up to how James can capitalize on their good start.
