Another mural of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has emerged in the streets of L.A. This time around though, the magnitude of the mural will make it very difficult for vandals to destroy the artwork.

First off all, that’s a very awesome piece of art. It’s literally at least 10-stories high and requires a lot of time, effort, and skill to accomplish. Kudos to the artists of this brilliant piece.

The painting appears to be an advertisement for California-based electronics company Beats by Dre. LeBron has been an endorser for the company for the longest time, and this larger-than-life mural is just the latest publicity ad featuring one of the greatest basketball players of all time.

LeBron has yet to play a single minute of regular season basketball for Los Angeles, and already, he has established himself as an icon in the city. Only a superstar of James’ magnitude would warrant such an enormous honor — in La La Land, no less.

On Wednesday, James notched the most important win of his very young Lakers career by defeating the defending champions Golden State Warriors. Sure, it was just a preseason contest and there was nothing at stake. Nonetheless, any win against the champions still definitely counts for something.

LeBron James played a little less than 18 minutes for his team on Wednesday, and notched up a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double. He also chipped in one three-pointer, five assists, and one steal in the 123-113 victory against the Dubs.
