Get hyped, Los Angeles Lakers fans – Russell Westbrook is now shooting like Stephen Curry. At least, that's what it looks like from his offseason workout clips.

But of course, as has been the case with Ben Simmons after every offseason, it doesn't matter until we see it in actual games. The Lakers could definitely use a much improved shooting season from Russell Westbrook, though.

Should he suddenly become a deadeye deep threat, his on-court fit with LeBron James and Anthony Davis suddenly becomes exponentially more lethal. The Lakers were one of the worst shooting teams in the league last season. How they overcome that weakness is one of the biggest question marks they need to answer as they look to bounce back from a down season.

Russell Westbrook hasn't been great from distance throughout his entire career. He's a career 30.5% three-point shooter and is even worse during the playoffs at 29.6%. His impact on every other statistical category may be enough to offset that, given that he still managed to average a triple double last season for the second time in his career.

The Lakers could very well silence the doubters through sheer star power. With two MVPs in Westbrook and LeBron James and a perennial contender in Anthony Davis, along with a cast of seasoned veterans, a healthy LA squad has the talent to beat anybody on any given night. If Russell Westbrook starts hitting his threes too, then it's a wrap.
