Los Angeles Lakers rookie combo guard Talen Horton-Tucker is only 19 years old, so he's unable to drink wine with his teammates at the Walt Disney bubble in Orlando, Florida.

However, Horton-Tucker still hangs out with the Lakers veterans so he can soak up as much knowledge about the game as he can from the likes of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Rajon Rondo.

The Chicago native, who spent most of the 2019-20 season playing for the South Bay Lakers, has a solution for his thirst while his teammates drink wine:

“They drink a lot of wine. I don’t drink that. But I can still be around,” Talen Horton-Tucker told Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated.

“They can drink their wine and give me an orange juice. I just like sitting around, listening and taking anything in. It can be from basketball to video games. I’m a sponge with everybody.”

The Lakers are two wins away from reaching the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010. Los Angeles can take a commanding 3-0 lead against the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, which is on Tuesday evening.

With the South Bay Lakers, Horton-Tucker averaged 18.1 points, 6.2 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 38 games. He certainly has a bright future in the NBA, especially when you consider he's getting advice from three future Hall of Famers in James, Davis and Dwight Howard. Horton-Tucker used advice from LeBron to make an impact against the Houston Rockets in the second round.
