The Los Angeles Lakers have started a new wave with plenty of fresh faces on the roster, from Brook Lopez, to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, to the main attraction Lonzo Ball.

But old habits die hard and during Monday's preseason loss against the Denver Nuggets, the team prompted an offer for their emoji “stickers” — including former Laker D'Angelo Russell leading them all.

Russell was swapped to the Brooklyn Nets for Brook Lopez earlier this summer to hand Ball the keys to the point guard position coming into this season.

The emoji collection features some of the youngsters including Russell, Brandon Ingram, Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson, and Larry Nance Jr.

Perhaps what makes it so obvious is that the organization clearly intended for Russell to be the main attraction when posting that graphic, but ended up biting them after forgetting to update the emojis.

A quick update swap of these emojis will likely include Ball at the forefront along with rookie sensation Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart and the rest of the newcomers who fill out the roster coming into 2017-18.

The Lakers will have a chance for redemption going up against the Nuggets a second time on Wednesday on NBATV.
