Los Angeles Lakers backup guard Alex Caruso is spending his hiatus time playing video games, streaming live on Twitch.

Caruso, 26, told viewers watching his live stream he's going to be a ā€œpro streamerā€ for the next month. Players, coaches, and NBA organizations lay low, self-isolate and distance to prevent the spread of coronavirus while he played popular third-person shooter Fortnite.

Utah Jazz All-Stars center Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell both tested positive for the coronavirus. The Lakers will have zero games played in the next month, along with the rest of the league. Meanwhile, the sports world will grapple with the infectious virus outbreak changing the pace of normal life and routines.

For Caruso, that means spending more time gaming.
