LeBron James' emotional last dance against longtime friend Dwyane Wade didn't keep him from having an edge to his game, as he reminded a Miami Heat player what he does best. The Los Angeles Lakers forward wasn't shy to list his own accolades right in front of his teammates and opponents.

“I'm also leading the league in points per fourth quarter,” James reminded players as he was catching his breath at the free-throw line.

While it's unknown who he was aiming his comments to, given his focus on the rim, the dig was likely James' way of barking back at a player criticizing his free-throw shooting in the clutch.

James missed a pair of free throws early in the quarter and went only 3-of-6 from the stripe in the fourth, but he wasn't wrong for proclaiming his prowess in the fourth quarter. James scored 11 of his 28 points in the fourth, sparking a steady effort to retain the slim one-point lead the Lakers had heading into the final period.

The King is putting up a league-best 9.7 points per game in the fourth in his last seven games, while scoring 8.6 fourth-quarter points per game for the season, good for the top spot in the league.

But greatness comes with scrutiny, and James hasn't been short of it, given his long-storied struggles at the foul line, especially in crunch time, when it matters most.

Luckily for LeBron James, his 4-of-8 shooting performance from the charity stripe didn't hinder the Lakers' chances to come out on top, grabbing the sixth win in the team's last seven games.
