The Los Angeles Lakers lost on the road to the Denver Nuggets, 125-116. The night wouldn't end without a heated moment, though, as Los Angeles head coach Luke Walton was seen fuming mad at Jamal Murray during the waning seconds of the game.

Many would remember that the Nuggets point guard was also involved in a different end-game controversy earlier this season when he playfully dribbled around Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball during the dying seconds of a Los Angeles loss. It was deemed as a disrespectful act and Ball's teammates — Julius Randle and Brandon Ingram, in particular — did not take Murray's actions kindly.

Following Friday night's game, more light was shed on the incident after Walton spoke with reporters. According to a tweet sent out by Tania Ganguli of The Los Angeles Times.

Luke Walton said for the second time playing here, Jamal Murray was “disrespectful.” Referenced some trash talking Murray was doing late.

Murray, however, didn't really need any words to put the Lakers to shame on the night. The Canadian scorer was already a thorn on the visiting team's side as he scored 22 points while adding three rebounds, eight assists, four steals, and one block to his stat line.

On the other hand, the Lakers were led by Lonzo Ball who played an all-around game for the Tinseltown squad. He totaled 15 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, four steals, and one block, making his fantasy owners very happy with yet another well-rounded game.

The Lakers and Nuggets will face each other once again in a few days time.
