On paper, the Denver Nuggets' 115-100 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers looked like a near-blowout. However, that was certainly not the case as the game largely came down to a clutch effort by the Nuggets down the stretch.

Second-year point guard Jamal Murray finished the outing with a spectacular effort, but not before eventually trolling Lakers' rookie point guard Lonzo Ball with time winding down.

It was clear that Murray's actions did not sit well with Lakers power forward and fellow Kentucky Wildcat Julius Randle, nor with anybody on Twitter for that matter. Following the game, the former seventh overall pick posted a response to the hate he received for his little stunt.

At first glance, it seems as though Jamal Murray was trying to downplay his actions. However, the comment itself could be interpreted as yet another playful jab at Lonzo Ball.

Regardless, it is safe to say the Nuggets point guard got the last laugh after a stellar 28-point performance. He was also able to tack on four assists and two steals while going 5-of-8 from 3-point land. Meanwhile, Ball struggled to put the ball in the basket once again after scoring just nine points on 4-of-10 shooting, though he did manage to haul in nine rebounds while dishing out five assists for the Lakers.
