The 47th overall pick of the 2018 NBA draft, Los Angeles Lakers swingman Svi Mykhailiuk is not one of the popular young talents in Magic Johnson's stable. With Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, and even Josh Hart, it would be hard to get noticed behind the individual talents of those fantastic young players.

However, in a recent video, Mykhailiuk is making a good case for including his name in the list of the team's promising young pool. A video of him knocking down consecutive three-pointers in their practice facility has showcased the budding sniper's ability.

Being one of the most awful three-point shooting teams last season at 34 percent collectively, the Lakers are in need of more reliable outside sniping. Recent veteran additions JaVale McGee, Lance Stephenson, and Rajon Rondo who are three-point shot deficient are not exactly the answer to the roster's lingering issue. It is possible that Svi Mykhailiuk may get some more mileage in due to his long-range proficiency.

With LeBron James as the primary ball handler, he functions best with consistent shooters to kick out to. At this rate, Mykhailiuk will make a viable option for that type of shooter despite being a rookie.  If the Lakers are aiming to go all the way to the postseason, even with the best player on the planet, utilizing every weapon in their arsenal will prove to be beneficial.

All eyes will be on this intriguing bunch composed of colorful veterans, budding talent, and the best player in the world.
