Svi Mykhailiuk has been one of the must-watch talents in Summer League, recently showing out with a 31-point performance against Collin Sexton and the Cleveland Cavaliers to knock them off during Monday night's semifinal matchup.

The Ukrainian international is only seven days into being a member of the Los Angeles Lakers and he's already showing plenty of promise and a maturity seldom seen in young prospects at this time of the year.

Mykhailiuk started his day with a pull-up triple and shortly followed by finding center Jeff Ayres with a pass that went between the legs of the Cavs defense, proving his vision is up to par.

The Kansas product scored or assisted in the Lakers' first seven points, quickly taking control of the game, despite teammate Josh Hart grabbing the headlines with a game-high 37 points.

What has impressed the most is his shot selection, as he finished 12-of-20 from the field and 6-of-11 from beyond the arc through his 33 minutes on the floor — making the most of a 40-minute game by picking his spots carefully and making the defense pay.

The Lakers have been known to find gems in the draft in recent memory, and it wouldn't surprise people if Mykhailiuk could find some court time when the season starts, much like Kyle Kuzma did last season.

Drafted 47th overall in the second round, Mykhailiuk's maturity has helped the Lakers stay undefeated (6-0) in the Las Vegas Summer League and one step away from the championship when they take on the Portland Trail Blazers today.
