Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is arguably the greatest player of all time, which is likely why The King has some regrets as a father.

Everyone relax. We are not talking about anything actually awful. Instead, it is about the idea of his son having to play in his shadow. Even worse than just that, but with LeBron James' name directly attached.

In an upcoming documentary, James admits that he wishes that his now 14-year-old son didn't carry the burden of being LeBron Jr.

Obviously, this isn't the absolute worst thing in the world, but one can see why LeBron regrets making the move. After all, the shadow James casts for NBA players is already huge. It will be even larger, constantly looming for his children.

It is actually unfair, but that's where we are in 2018. James' kid is already getting dissected by people on Twitter by way of YouTube videos.

When you couple LeBron James with the hype his son will have, there's almost no shot of people accepting whatever kind of player he inevitably becomes.

Oddly enough, at least in my opinion, this makes the kid an underdog of sorts. A humanizing figure who most should root for if only because he has a giant mountain he will have to climb. That mountain's name just so happens to be Dad.
